#2 | Hello, Remix. Hello, Intentions!
Glad to see you back here because we had some big updates on our platform in this last cycle. This Release Notes will get into tech and user experience decisions, a brand new concept and our Changelog.
Let's do it.

This release marks the beginning of iterations focused on exploring more skillset actions and providing more granular control over how we create a path for personal development.
Starting with this release, we’re introducing what we’re calling skill actions, which allow users to declare intentions, expand a given skill into related knowledge, and even mark a skill as a favorite. We’re also making a small tweak to improve the ease of using proficiencies.
From a user experience perspective, our goal is to make skill manipulation simple and intuitive, while still preserving the exploratory qualities that the skillset view offers. We’re excited to see how people enhance their career planning with these new tools.

Intentions: your new way ahead.
Intentions, as said before, is an element of a skill. By just clicking on a skill, you can set a Intention for it, that basically means you are developing yourself on this skill.
Why is this important? To develop yourself on something may mean a lot: that you are preparing yourself for a new role, or maybe having the desire to expand your current one or even thinking about changing careers.
And all of this, right now, depends solely on you telling your manager about it and your manager making something about it. Sounds simple but in practice rarely works out well.
Managers are people with their own interests, with bias, with a lot to do - and well, because of that, they may not take your desire to change in considerations when the opportunity arrives.
Intentions end that cycle. With Intentions you are the only responsible to show everybody you are getting ready for the next big jump. You can now populate your skillset with new skills and constantly make progress to improve your proficiency and show your progress.
Your intentions are now just up to you.

Changelog, Sep. 30th.
Everything we shipped today.
Skill Actions: create, expande and delete skills and intentions in your skillset.
Teams management: You’re now free to create teams and assign members with ease.
Members: switch members from user to admin or the other way around.
Domains: We’ve created a prohibited list of domains to prevent users outside your company from accessing your workspace.
Skills Standardization: One of the biggest challenges when multiple people define their own skillset is ensuring that all these skills follow a standard that everyone can understand. We have developed proprietary algorithms to ensure this skill network remains cohesive and easily understandable by all. We will dive deeper into this specific topic later on.

And that's a wrap. We will be back on Oct, 21th.
